02 Lone Tree in Monument Valley Marek Kosiba

It’s been said that there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth, and it certainly looks that way in Marek’s photograph. He has worked his Nikon D300 extremely hard here to capture such a detailed night sky. The lone tree stretching into the right third of the frame guides our eyes up towards the milky way.
