Tell a story

Kate says… When shooting weddings you’re trying to tell a story and capture the emotion of the day, but you also want to create standalone images that are strong in their own right. I always say I ‘make’ rather than take pictures, as so much of it is about arranging what’s in the frame, and I spend as much time on detail shots as I do on the ‘main’ shots.
