Another shot that positively oozes spring. Forest floors carpeted with bluebells was a popular subject, but this was our favourite, thanks to its even (but not

even) spread of flowers and tree trunks, and dramatic backlighting. It looks like a wide-angle shot, but it was taken at an effective focal length of 105mm on the DX-format D7100, helping compress perspective and draw the flowers and trees together.
