Waterproofs and wellies

My best friends on the trip, (aside from my wonderful D750s) were the clothes on my back. A waterproof overcoat and trousers kept me dry and comfortable. A good pair of waterproof hiking boots made it easy to scuttle up mountain peaks and rough terrain. It’s also a good idea to bring a pair of wellies for wet ground that even hiking boots can’t handle. Fleecy mid-layers kept me warm on the windiest days. Dry and warm are what you want to be, especially when out photographing.
