Lens Hood

A lens hood will reduce flare cast across your wide-angle lens. Most come with a screw-on lens hood in the box, but some (such as the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8) are built in. If you don’t have a lens hood available, just use your hand or a hat to shade the front element of the lens.
