Welcome to issue 77

Hello there! I may be a new face, but I’ve been beavering away behind the scenes on N-Photo for the past nine months, and promise to take good care of the magazine we all love.

And what an issue to take over as editor! We knew the D850 was coming, but Nikon kept tight-lipped until the very last moment. It’s exceeded all our expectations, from its blistering frame-rate and poster-sized resolution to tricks like silent shooting and focus-stacking modes, and videographers will be love its fullframe 4K video. Our huge eight-page review starts on page 8.
