Alan was us­ing his Van­guard Alta Pro 263AB100 tri­pod but wasn’t get­ting the height he needed for the com­po­si­tion, due to un­even ter­rain, so Michael lent him his Gitzo Car­bon 6X, which ex­tends up to eight feet, giv­ing him enough reach to get his fram­ing right.
