Polarizer filters enable you to limit the direction of light striking the lens, and are used to reduce harsh glare on water and other shiny surfaces, enabling you to see into water or through reflections, adding clarity. They’re also useful for darkening blues in the sky during clear days and enhancing overall colour contrast, making clouds look really punchy.
