Devil’s Kitchen

From Llyn Ogwen we headed up a series of sturdy stony steps to get the best views of the surrounding countryside. We spent a couple of hours around this small, scenic area, taking countless images of Mother Nature’s huge playground. We stopped halfway to shoot this scene, using the rocky river in our foreground to lead to the distant valley, with the shoulders of mountains and moody skyline to complete the picture. Using a wide 15mm focal length and narrow aperture of f/11 has captured the whole landscape sharply.
