The ES-2 Digitizer can be mounted on Nikon’s AF-S DX Micro 40mm f/2.8G, AF-S Micro 60mm f/2.8 ED, or AF Micro 60mm f/2.8D. The two 60mm lenses require 62mm adapter rings, included in the ES-2 kit.

Once you’ve extended and rotated the adapter for correct focus and framing, this screw locks everything in place.

The front diffusion panel does a good job of diffusing your light source across each frame.

You don’t actually need a D850 to use the ES-2. Providing you have a compatible lens, any Nikon DSLR will scan film or negatives held in the ES-2. You’ll just have to do more post processing work to invert C41 colour negs and set black/white points.
