Men in uniform

I agree with the letter from Ian Douglas in N-Photo 85 about ‘Pay and Display’ events. You don’t need them. There’s lots of places where you can see people in uniform who’ll let you photograph them.

At the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, you can go to any station along the line and photograph the uniformed staff who run the railway. There’s Warwick Castle, that have reenactments of jousting, archery and so on. You may have to pay to for entrance, but the photography is free when you’re in! Alan W Davis
