VERDICT

For general photography where you want to avoid movement of the camera, the Manfrotto XPRO ball head is ideal. It has great build quality and performance, and is superb value at the price. However, the Benro GH2 gives a practically gravity-defying balance even for large telephoto lenses, and is leagues ahead for tracking moving subjects. As gimbals go, it’s a great performer at a bargain price.
