Edit your Nikon photos anywhere
Add to album
In the desktop version click Add photos and browse to a folder or memory card to select the shots you want. Click Review for Import, then click Add. In the Albums panel click the + icon. Click Create Album and label it. Drag shots from the filmstrip into the album.
Edit a shot
Open the Light panel and drag the Exposure slider left to darken the overexposed sky and reveal more detail. Click Done. Toggle open Light and drag shadows right to lighten underexposed areas. Toggle open Color and boost Vibrance for stronger blues and greens.
Work in the cloud
You can also process your photos in the cloud version of Lightroom using a web browser. Lightroom Cloud is similar to the desktop and mobile versions. For example, it’ll display the results of a gradient you’ve applied in other versions of Lightroom, but you can’t edit the gradient’s properties.
Access on ipad
On Lightroom for ipad, tap to view the synced contents of the album you created. Tap to view a photo. To reveal detail in an overexposed sky, tap the Selective Edits icon. Tap the + icon and choose the Gradient adjustment. Drag to draw a gradient over the sky.
View edits on PC
Once your ipad connects to Wi-fi it’ll upload these edits to the desktop version. Here you can tweak adjustments, such as the position and strength of the linear gradient we added earlier. These changes will also be updated in the ipad version.
How to get Lightroom
To get Lightroom Mobile to work with the desktop version, go to www.adobe. com and choose a subscription plan. For £9.98/$9.99 per month the Photography plan will give you Lightroom desktop and mobile, plus Photoshop. For £19.97/$19.99 you also get 1TB of cloud storage.
