Eagle Hunting

Elders train youngsters to hunt with eagles at a hill in the province of Bayan-ölgii in western Mongolia. There are an estimated 250 eagle hunters in Bayanölgii, located in the Altai Mountains. They maintain the ancient practice of hunting red and corsac foxes with golden eagles on horseback.
