Water droplet motion

There are many ways to add rain effects to your shots. Here’s a technique you can try at home. Get a plastic bottle and cut it in half, then punch holes in the base of the bottom – the size of your droplets will depend on the size of the holes. You can use this to create rain, by pouring water into it and holding it above your subject. I like to move the bottle in a circular motion to spread the droplets. You can also use a spray bottle, but I like being able to control the size of the droplets.
