PLAN YOUR VISIT

HERE ARE SOME USEFUL TIPS ON MAKING PREPARATIO­NS FOR YOUR TRIP TO THE SHOW.

WHEN:

Opening hours are from 10:00 until 17:00 from Saturday, 17 September until Tuesday, 20 September. You can arrive at any time from 09:30.

GETTING THERE: BY CAR

You’ll find the NEC clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes including the M42, M40 and M6 - just put B40 1NT in your sat nav. When you arrive at the NEC, look out for the show name you’re visiting on the signs. Then, simply jump on a free shuttle bus to get to the halls. There is parking available at a cost of £12.85 per day (pre-booked) and £16.85 if purchased on the day. Disabled parking is available. Pre-book parking with the NEC here. Please note that The Photograph­y Show & The Video Show team does not have any control over the parking fees.

BY TRAIN

Direct services run from Birmingham New Street to the NEC all day, which is less than a 15-minute journey away.

BY BUS / COACH

Buses and coach companies stop frequently at Birmingham Airport which is on the NEC’S doorstep. All you need to do from there is take the free air-rail link from Birmingham Internatio­nal Railway Station located at the upper level of Terminal 1. The train runs every two minutes and only takes 90 seconds.

WHERE:

The show is located in halls 2 and 3 at The NEC Birmingham.

EATING & DRINKING:

The Food Village will be open throughout the event in Hall 2. In addition, numerous bars, restaurant­s and seating areas offering anything from a quick drink to a more substantia­l meal are situated around the NEC complex. For those staying a little later or overnight, there is a selection of restaurant­s in Resorts World, a 5 minute walk from Halls 2 & 3.

STAYING OVERNIGHT:

ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE:

All levels of the NEC are accessible to wheelchair users, via ramps or lifts. The Piazza and Atrium main entrances have automatic doors. The NEC has wheelchair­s and mobility scooters available for hire, please telephone +44 (0)121 780 4141 to book in advance. There is a disabled parking area close to the venue. For those who are hard of hearing, we will have hearing loops in every theatre.
