Better than ever
I’ve been a subscriber of your magazine for quite a number of years now and I must say that in its current iteration it really is the best it has ever been (since I’ve become a subscriber). A couple of years ago I got close to cancelling my subscription as I started to find the articles and news items a bit repetitive and not reaching the right depth and then you turned it round at just the right time.
The magazine typically starts with Apprentice and whatever the subject, I find that I always get some new perspective that I can relate to my own photography. Then you have the phenomenal pages of Lightbox, fantastic full-size pictures – wow!
The features always have something to pick up from. Paul Wilkinson, Tom Mackie and The Parting Shot are always great to read.
I like the fact that the Nikon Skills section has numerous projects as some appeal, some don’t, so there’s something for everyone. Of course, in the Gear Zone we can drool over the new products and dream to get our Best of Test gear. Your Stories show what readers can send in to be published.
But my absolute favourite of the magazine are the in-depth interviews with the Nikon professionals. These interviews really do it for me. They show how dedicated these individuals are to their work and their fantastic achievements after years of hard work. I love the fact that this typically is a multi-page interview, showing some of their fantastic photography. It gives a look behind the scenes of the photos. Love it!
So please keep up the good work and I’ll continue to be a subscriber for many years to come. Thank you for a great magazine!
