Final Farewell

Being a long-time North Shore Rod and Custom Club member, Geoff was good mates with Meremere Dragway announcer Kevin ‘Manwell’ Stevens, who sadly passed away in July. With Manwell being a hot rodder and a drag racing icon, a celebration of his life took place at the drag strip, where Geoff was privileged to be given the job of performing a skid in Manwell’s honour. It was a fitting farewell to a guy who dedicated his life to the hot rod and drag racing scene, and another memory that Geoff will cherish forever.
