It was his jaw-dropping mind-blowing Commodore ute that graced the very first cover of NZV8, and, if it were debuted today, it would still be considered a late-model vehicle to be so wildly modified. It was the first time many of us had seen such a new vehicle so customized, and the first late-model car with a supercharg­er sticking through the hood.
