‘50 SIX’ 1956 Chev Bel Air

-

The first of the big-power turbo cars, Reece’s four-door showed what import-scene technology can do when mixed with cubic inches. Sure, there were quick street cars before it, but ever since the car’s turbo combination debuted back in 2007, Reece has been streets ahead of the rest of the street drag field. Part of the car’s appeal will have been due to where the turbos were mounted, nice and high and visible, but the performance is really what counts. Reece’s car has pushed even the most diehard of old-school V8 lovers to accept that maybe turbos do have their place in the V8 scene.
