TORQUEBACK
Change is in the air for one of New Zealand’s largest automotive events, with the ownership of CRC Speedshow having been transferred from Ross and Brenda Prevette to Terry Nicholas and Bruce Anderson. The event is in safe hands, though, as both Terry and Bruce are devout petrolheads with a large collection of cars between them, as well as an extensive background in business operations and management, media, marketing, and television and video production. The modus operandi for CRC Speedshow 2018 does not look to be a radical departure from the show as we know it, but, rather, a continuance of the show’s successes. This will no doubt be helped by the involvement of Ross and Brenda in the planning of CRC Speedshow 2018. That being said, things will be changing as Terry and Bruce look to enhance the Speedshow experience, and its presence in the minds of New Zealanders, with strategies including a dedicated online Speedshow TV channel being planned. We are looking forward to seeing how next year’s event turns out and have no doubt that it will be a worthy successor to what Ross and Brenda have brought to us.
