Smoothed, shaved, and de-loomed engine bays are noth­ing new, but, when Matt El­liott de­buted his ‘CLUTCH’ C10, it took things to a whole new level. In fact, seven years on, we’ve yet to see a smoother engine bay in New Zealand. Work ex­tends be­yond the smooth pan­els and glossy paint­work, through to the in­fi­nite de­tail­ing of the engine it­self — ex­tend­ing to re­cessed Allen-head bolts through­out — and wiring hid­den from sight. While engine bays like this are al­most com­mon­place com­pared with back then, Matt’s still looks cut­ting edge — the re­cent ad­di­tion of a ProCharger, fit­ted just as per­fectly, is the ic­ing on the cake.
