1934 FORD V8 COUPE

Out of the cars in Jim’s collection today, the ’34 Ford coupe is the one he’s owned for the longest. He’s owned three of them in his time and has owned this one for about 23 years, getting it out of an old hay barn in Northland. “Keith Goulder bought it, and then he sold it onto another guy,” Jim says. “All I got was a body, as it had been pulled to bits. I got onto it and stripped the whole thing — new patch panels, everything.” It’s got a hot V8 flathead in it and a three-speed box, and, with its full-fendered stance on wide whitewalls, it’s about as cool as it’s possible to get.
