Covered Up

“You may notice on the rocker covers that the Cadillac badge is shiny and raised,” says Wade. “To add a bit of bling to the engine, I sandblasted the rocker covers, took a pencil rubbing of the Cadillac badge and had a mate from work, Anthony, draw up a programme to laser-cut the badge. Then Gordy polished them up before I tacked them onto the rocker covers. I painted them gold and used a bit of thinners to take the paint off the badge.”
