For decades, the Wanganui Road Rodders have held their annual street drags on Taupo Quay — an excuse to let the inner hoon free, with big burnouts and high speed down a public road! Not only is the event an experience for the drivers, it’s one hell of a spectacle for those on the sidelines — after all, it’s widely stated that the Road Rodders are the ‘most-supercharged’ car club in New Zealand. You can bet that there will be one heck of a lot of firepower on display, as usual. Lock the date in, cruise to the river city, and don’t forget to bring your earplugs — you’ll thank us for it!
