E-BIKE GOES MOTOCROSS

-

The electric bike has now pushed into a new market with the launch of an e-motocross bike, removing noise and fume pollution from motocross but keeping all the fun.

As with electric cars, the QWIK EMX-6000X electric motocrosser delivers instant torque from its 6000-watt motor coupled with a two-stage drive chain. Packed with the punch of a 60V 32-AH 2000 watt/hour battery, the 50kg bike has the power-to-weight to deliver in motocross conditions. With fewer moving parts, wear and tear comes down to tyres, brake pads and chain, and two shaft bearings that will outlast petrol engine equivalents. The EMX-6000X will run for 70–80km and hit 65kph between 3-hour charges. Suggested retail is $7295, including GST.
