MAKE IT A DATE

While most drag racing events were finished for the year before Covid-19 hit, Meremere’s Winter Drag Wars was still to happen. At the time of writing, the rounds are scheduled to take place on 7 and 21 June, 5 and 19 July, and 2 and 23 August. Obviously, those dates are subject to change pending the state of the nation at the time. Assuming they go ahead, it’ll be a great way to get in some low-stress racing.

The Meremere Dragway Comp Series and Night

Night Speed Drag Wars and Comp Series prizegiving that was to be held on 9 May has been postponed to July 11th, and as always will be held at the Pukekohe Hot rod Club with doors opening from 5.30pm.
