Leaving this section of the building took us back to the area that we’d entered when we first arrived, where I’d stood and gawked at all the vintage parts. But now I walked back passed it all and barely glanced at it. My mind had been blown.

Despite its size, this isn’t the largest collection I’ve seen. But for some reason, it really stood out. And I think the setting and condition of the vehicles played a key role in this. If all the vehicles here had been beautifully restored and on display in a museum with carefully curated backdrops, strangely enough, it would have had less impact. The fact this unsuspecting building housed all these amazing vehicles in various states of progress, all cloaked in a light layer of dust, really left a lasting impression on me. This was truly a collection assembled purely for the pleasure of its owner. But isn’t that the best kind?
