The Motorcycle Files – range of Kindle e-books written by Alan Cathcart – has expanded to 24 titles. Thanks to online digital publishing, these can be accessed and downloaded by anyone wishing to build their own library of fully illustrated hands-on information about their favourite bikes. Alan’s tests of racing and road bikes include some of the rarest and most significant racing motorcycles and exotic streetbikes ever built, ranging from the prototype 1963 Ducati Apollo V4 1260, the 1939 supercharged AJS 500cc V4 to the four-cylinder 500GP two-strokes from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki that lined up on GP grids during the 1980s and ‘90s. In the case of the Honda NSR500, the File covers the entire run of models from 1984 to 2002 of the most successful 500cc racer in Grand Prix history, and is a special extended issue equal to 136 A5 pages.
