Mt Tarrengowe­r climb

HMRAV Historic Hill Climb 15-16 October 2016 – Mt Tarrengowe­r, Victoria

The annual blast up Mt Tarrengowe­r, near Malden in Central Victoria, attracted 33 entries, but once again it was perennial winner Mike Panayi who recorded fastest time on his 1961 Norton Atlas. Mike’s second practice run of 43.3 seconds was actually the quickest of the weekend, but he was only fractional­ly slower in his official climb, at 43.7 to finish comfortabl­y ahead of Stacey Heaney on 45.3 and Wayne Donehue on 49.0 – these being the only three to break the 50 second barrier.
