Day 2
Launceston > Bridport
Take the West Tamar Highway (A7) and follow the blue and yellow Tamar Valley Wine Route signs stopping en route at Stoney Rise Wine Company. Sample some of Tassie’s best pinot noir and chardonnay while overlooking the Tamar River. Then stop in at Seahorse World, for an up-close look into the world’s first working seahorse farm. Once you have enough pics of these curious-looking creatures, cross the Batman Bridge and follow the B82. Pull over for tastings of iconic sparkling wines at Delamere Vineyards and Jansz. Then it’s onwards to Bridport Holiday Park to set up camp or opt for a B&B or self-catering cottage before heading out for dinner at Bridport Bunker Club.
