Lake St Clair > Devonport
On your way out of Lake St Clair, call in at The Wall to witness history in the making. This mammoth art project is the vision of talented Tassie sculptor Greg Duncan who works artistic wonders with locally sourced Huon pine. Continue east on the Lyell Highway and take the B11 that will lead you north and onto the A5, past the awe-inspiring expanse of Great Lake. Make sure you call in to the charming riverside town of Deloraine in the foothills of the Great Western Tiers. Enjoy lunch or tea along the historic streetscapes lined with Georgian and Victorian buildings. For your last hurrah, pop into a local gallery, craft shop or antique store before travelling to Devonport for your return voyage to the mainland.
