Discovery Holiday Park Byron Bay is located only 2km from the relaxing Byron Bay town centre at 399 Ewingsdale Road. The nearest airport is Ballina Byron Gateway Airport, a 35-minute drive from the holiday park. The park is a little under two hours’ drive from Brisbane City, 45 minutes from Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta, and an 8.5 hour drive from Sydney CBD.

The park offers 18 different accommodation options with powered and unpowered sites, budget cabins, villas, newly-opened and superbly finished Safari Tents, and the very impressive Duplex cabins. The Duplex cabins are perfect for all combinations of guests, including holidays with grandparents and family friends.

Out & About with Kids stayed in the Duplex cabin, and it was impressive. The cabin can be booked to individual guests as two separate villas, however, the opportunity exists for you to share the entire villa enabling the kids to have one half and the parents to retreat to the other. Alternatively, relatives or friends could stay in one half of the cabin. The Duplex is made up of one villa with a double bed (roll out can be ordered for a third bed) and a second 2 bedroom villa with a double bed, and 2 x bunk beds (4) All in all the duplex sleeps 8.
