OMG!

LG has announced that the brand is going to once again throw its hat into the VR ring (the company released a phone based VR headset in 2015) with what is being described as a “Next Generation” VR HMD (Head Mounted Display). The South Korean technology giant is planning on unveiling the new HDM at this year’s GDC in the Valve booth. The VR team is looking to meet up with developers to collect feedback and criticism of their HMD to help refine and define the unit for a commercial release. No solid details of the unit have been released to the public as yet, but going by the language used in the announcement, it sounds like the technical specs may still be very much up in the air.
