WW2 SHOOTER DAY OF INFAMY LEAVES EARLY ACCESS
It’s time to storm the beaches. Again.
Remember when we were all sick and tired of World War 2 shooters? It seems like only yesterday, but the fact is we kinda miss those days of classic Call of Duty, of Medal of Honor when it was still good, and the amazing Day of Defeat mod for the Source engine. New World Interactive feels much the same, and Day of Infamy is its answer.
And now, Day of Infamy is coming out of early access, releasing on Steam last month.
The game launches with ten maps, features class-based gameplay, and a unique system of character progression that unlocks skins representing different units of the conflict. We’ve played a little - finding populated servers was a challenge while in early access - but if you can find a full server it’s a hoot of a game. Man, I’d missed the sound of the M1 Garand!
Day of Infamy retails for $US19.99.
