S.T.A.L.K.E.R. LOST ALPHA DEVELOPER’S CUT IS COMING TO PC

It’s time to go back into the Zone.

-

Few games matched S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in terms of pure atmosphere, or for - at the time - it’s jaw-dropping visuals. It’s also remained a firm fan favourite over the years - all of whom will no doubt be very pleased to see that the dezowave mod team are about to release the Lost Alpha Developer’s Cut.

Lost Alpha was one of THE mods of 2014, and the new Developer’s Cut is the game the team always wanted to release. It’s not perfect - even they admit they can’t squash all the bugs - but it’s as smooth a game as the team can make.

“We admit that the release version wasn’t as stable as we wanted it, but it was a rushed decision after the unexpected leak, and that’s precisely why we’re giving ourselves just a bit more time - to squish the greatest bugs, so DC will be a more polished game than vanilla Lost Alpha was.”

That said, there will be post-release work done to deal with anything that pops up once it’s in the hands of its fans. And that date is not far away - the Lost Alpha DC will be ready to go on April 26.

Which just happens to be the 31st anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. Good... timing?
