Holmes’ greatest foe invades Steam

Group, an australian multi-disciplinary content creation group with experience in film, installation, VR, education and more has just launched a first-of-its-kind comic through Steam. Moriarty: Endgame VR is based on the Image comics Moriarty series by Daniel Corey and Anthony Diecedue and tells the story of an ageless Moriarty and Sherlock Holmes in a post-apocalyptic future, gearing up for one final reckoning. Rather than just showing the comic in VR, Endgame instead brings users into the comic, allowing them to look around the panels rather than simply at them. It’s only a short experience but the effect is impressive. Hopefully this proof of concept will be used for more VR comics in the future.
