While Bethesda’s E3 presence was mostly expansions or remakes (with one stand-out sequel), Doom VFR (the F stands for exactly what you think it does) is actually one of the most exciting VR games on the horizon thanks to a mixture of familiarity, good looks and a new approach to Doom shooting courtesy of a mix of analogue and motion controls with the HTC Vive controller. Rather than simply being a VR version of the 2016 Doom, Doom VFR is a semi-sequel.
