The Ultimate Thermaltake PC
THE RIGHT CASE, FANS AND POWER SUPPLY FOR YOUR NEXT BUILD.
Thermaltake’s product range is ideal for any PC enthusiast’s next build. Maintaining the ideal PC doesn’t just mean updating the video card or improving your RAM every few years – sometimes you need a new case, or a smarter cooling solution, or a tougher power supply. This month we’re highlighting a handful of unique new Thermaltake products to elevate your build to the next level.
STEALTHY STEEL
The Thermaltake S500 Mid-Tower Case sports an attractive, simple design measuring 565 x 240 x 500 mm, constructed with highquality black steel and sporting a sleek, minimalist front panel. It’s a case designed to blend into any environment, from home to office to any LAN party you take it to. On one side you’ll find a 4mm thick tempered glass panel, so you can keep an eye on what’s going on inside your PC or enjoy any RGB light displays you’ve set up. It supports motherboards all the way up to a full ATX, and its patented rotational PCI-E slots mean that you can display your graphics card either vertically or horizontally, depending on your preference.
It comes with a pre-installed 120mm rear fan, as well as a 140mm front fan, but there’s space for more fans and cooling inside. It’s LCS certified, meaning that it’s ideal for liquid cooling if you plan on running hot. There’s space for a CPU cooler of up to 172mm, a 400mm VGA and a 220mm PSU. The chassis also sports two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports on the top front for easy access, as well as an audio and microphone jack, so it’s easy to plug in your microphone, external hard-drive, and anything else. It’s an ideal midsize tower case.
TERRIFICALLY TEMPERED
If you’re looking for something a bit bigger, look no further than the Thermaltake A700 Full-Tower Case. It sports a similar design, but with a black aluminium finish, two tempered glass panels, and dimensions measuring 582 x 294 x 596 mm. It’s a case that can handle anything you throw at it, and it supports motherboards up to E-ATX. The panels on either side are made up of 5mm tempered glass with a gull-wing design, so they can be lifted up for easier upgrades – it also means you can take advantage of an RGB lighting set-up.
The A700 has many of the same features of the S500, including rotating PCI-E slots, front and rear fans, and four USB ports (two 3.0, two 2.0), but it also has some unique features of its own. A magnetic fan filter at the top of the case makes for superior dust filtration, keeping the inside of the case safe from dirt and dust. Tool-free drive cages for HDD and SSD drives make it very easy to upgrade your available space, and the PSU shroud included will improve your cable management. It features a Type C port near the USB ports, and space inside for a radiator up to 420mm at the front and 360mm at the top. It’s LCS certified for liquid cooling and is compatible with the full slate of the Water 3.0 and Floe series.
FULL FLOW
The hotter your PC, the cooler you need to run it. An ideal cooling solution will mix fans with liquid cooling, and with the Thermaltake Floe DX RGB AIO CPU Cooler (which is available in 240mm and 360mm models), you have both. These all-in-one CPU coolers use Thermaltake’s famous Riing Duo RGB fan design, which boasts a long-life hydraulic bearing and a compression blade design so that they will last the life of your PC and cool as efficiently as possible. These fans also feature 36 programmable LEDs to ensure that your PC can handle the heat and look good while doing it. Using Thermaltake’s RGB Plus software, you’ll have full control over the lighting display inside your case, and it’s also compatible with Razer Chroma and Amazon Alexa.
The Floe DX sports a highefficiency radiator to increase the cooling surface as much as possible, while also supporting up to 4 x 120mm fans if you really need to dissipate some major heat. It features a copper base plate for your CPU water block, as well as braided tubing designed to last. This premium cooling solution is easy to set up and does not require additional maintenance once it’s in place, so you can enjoy all the perks of liquid and fan cooling without any hassle. It supports both AMD and Intel CPU brackets, too.
The one thing that every set-up needs is power. Your power supply doesn’t need to be a dull little black rectangle that gets hidden away, though. The Thermaltake PF1 ARGB PSU Power Supply is stylish, versatile, and cool – it’s a great reminder that every single part of your build can be exciting. This is an 80 Plus Platinum Certified PSU, rocking a 10-year warranty and an RGB Riing Duo 140mm hydraulic bearing fan that comes complete with 18 addressable LEDs. This, combined with the RGB-lit logo illumination, gives the power supply a premium look and feel. There are lighting and colour mode buttons at the back of the unit, next to the onoff switch, and it’s compatible with multiple motherboard RGB software suites, including ARGB Sync, AsRock Polychrome, ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0, and MSI Mystic Light.
There are no messy cables in this power supply, thanks to lowprofile flat back custom cables and daughterboards that have been directly soldered to the motherboard for improved power output and heat dissipation. It features lower ripple noise and stricter voltage regulation than its competitors, and the premium Japanese capacitors improve its overall durability and stability. It’s Intel and AMD ready, too.
Thermaltake’s range of products is designed to look great, but also to provide the best performance on the market. With these new products you can put together a system that is stylish, efficient, and much easier to maintain, so you can focus on playing the best games with the settings maxed out without needing to worry about your case holding all your parts, your system overheating, or any power issues.
