It has been a month of surprises for MEGHANN O’NEILL, who generally prides herself on knowing more indies than the average gamer. First, a RimWorld expansion suddenly appeared. Then she kept finding newly released games from studios with extensive and interesting back catalogues. There’s a pleasant mix of artistic experiences, stories and more complex gameplay in this collection, too. Mojiken Studio, in particular, is experimenting within a range of genres. At the time of writing, Australia is battening down its hatches, due to COVID-19, so it might be a good time to play something new. We hope that all of our readers are able to stay safe and well, during this unusual time.
