Expert evaluators sought

ADVANCING Prac ce is seeking the exper se of experienced pharmacists or nonpharmacist health professionals to evaluate pharmacists applying for the new “Advancing Prac ce” and “Advanced Prac ce” creden als for Australian pharmacists ( PD 17 Nov 2017).

Advancing Prac ce Advisory Board chair Associate Professor Ian Coombes says evaluators will undertake independent assessment of por olios against the Advanced Prac ce enabling competencies within the Na onal Competency Standards Framework for Pharmacists in Australia 2016.

“Evaluators may be a pharmacist, or a non-pharmacist health professional, provided they have common skills in evalua on and assessment, experience in using assessment rubrics and proficiency with providing wriVen feedback,” Coombes explained.

Evaluators will be selected by the organisa on aKer comple ng the online applica on process, in which they must demonstrate and reference examples of their skills and experience, and assess a test por olio.

Selected evaluators must be available to aVend an Advancing Prac ce Evaluator Training session on Mon 14 May in Brisbane, and be available within the following evalua on rounds:
