Priceline hits 2 million health checks

-

AUSTRALIAN Pharmaceutical Industries (API) banner group, Priceline Pharmacy, is celebrating providing its two-millionth free health check using SiSU Health Stations in-store.

The stations assess biometric measurements including height, weight, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, heart rate, body fat percentage, diabetes risk, lifestyle and family history risk factors.

Priceline Pharmacy General Manager, Rob Tassie, said the health stations were a key point of difference for the group.

“We are the only pharmacy in the country that offers customers the opportunity to check their health on these digital stations while shopping for their health and beauty products,” he said.

“Pharmacists are able to assist customers through the check, providing the opportunity to build a connection and keep them coming back in store.

“Our pharmacy teams will remain on the front line for helping customers through their healthcare journey, and the health stations allow us to triage customers that are at risk through to the pharmacists.

“We’re increasing the footprint to put the health stations into more stores, including our company stores, so they are more easily accessible for all our customers.”

The SiSU Health Stations have ISO accreditation and are approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and have provided health checks to 15,000 patients a week since they were introduced into Priceline Pharmacy stores in 2015.

In Aug, Priceline Pharmacy and SiSU announced a new five-year partnership extension that will see the stations rolled out to the entire Priceline Pharmacy network.
