Like in the 5DS/R and 5D Mk IV, the reflex mirror has a new cam-operated design, to reduce vibration.

The samegeneration sensor, image processors and autofocus have since been inherited by the 5D Mk IV.

The amazingly clear and detailed 3.2-inch, 1620k-dot touchscreen LCD has also been handed down to the 5D Mk IV.

A third screen for camera status takes is at the bottom of the rear panel.

There’s no Shooting Mode dial on the top panel. It’s replaced by a simple Shooting Mode button.

The duplicated shooting controls ensure a natural feel for landscape and portrait orientation.
