With the same 24.2Mp Dual Pixel CMOS AF sensor as the new EOS DSLRS, the EOS M6 – also new – is a powerful little camera capable of shooting continuously at 7fps with autofocus, and 9fps with AF locked. It sits between the entry-level M10 and the more advanced M5 model in the EOS M range. Available from April 2017, the EOS M6 will cost £730/ $780 body only, £840/$900 with an EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM kit lens, or £1080/$1279 with a EF-M 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM. There will also be a new clip-on EVF-DC2 electronic viewfinder weighing just 29g and selling for £220/$250.
