“all modern telephoto zooms and primes have some sort of image stabilization (IS). My Canon telephotos have IS and two IS Modes. Mode 1 is for general shooting when you’re moving the camera in all directions, whereas Mode 2 is for adding stabilization when you’re panning from side to side, so use this mode if you have it,” suggests Jakob.
