dovercourt by tony hawkins
Built in 1863 as one of a pair of lighthouses to aid navigation into the River Orwell, on which the busy ports of Felixstowe and Harwich are located, this impressive sixlegged tower is painted black and stands 14 metres high. After being extinguished in 1917, both Dovercourt lighthouses fell into disrepair and were only restored in 1988. Lens Canon ef 24-105mm f/4l is usm Exposure 485 secs, f/10, iso100
