What is it?

this historic, picturesque Anglican cathedral was built between 1175 and 1490, and is situated in the heart of Wells.

Where is WELLS?

only 20 miles south of Bath. This medieval marvel may be England’s smallest city, but it offers amateur photographers many big photo ops, including the unique moated Bishop’s Palace, and Vicar’s Close, both next to the cathedral.

Fun Fact

cult classic Brit flick Hot Fuzz, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, was filmed around Wells, which posed as the seemingly idyllic village of Sandford.
