Adjustment layers

using Photoshop Hue/ saturation adjustment layers is an easy way to make nonpermanent colour changes to your image. select a layer, and click to add a Hue/saturation adjustment layer from the Adjustment panel. set a Hue of -15 for a green tone, then +15 for saturation. this will mute the green tones slightly without making the final image too drab.
