even in Manual mode, the camera will override the manually set shutter speed if it’s faster than the x-sync, resulting in the same two stops of overexposure as in the Aperture Priority shot. Unlike Aperture Priority, the camera doesn’t flash a warning, so you’ll need to use the exposure indicator in the viewfinder as a guide.
