04 Brighten the face

The final stage is to selectively lighten the image. Open it up in Photoshop and select the Dodge tool. Set it to Highlights and 30% exposure, then use a soft brush to paint over the face once or twice. Use a smaller brush to paint over the eyes. You might want to carry out this step on a duplicate layer.
